Education requirements:
- Requires skills normally obtained through the completion of high school, GED, or equivalent. Industry experience is preferred.
- Requires a valid CDL A License.
- Tanker and HazMat endorsements preferred.
Travel Requirements: Transport loads from out of state from time to time also referred to as OTR or over the road loads.
Job Summary
Drivers are responsible for hauling DOT regulated loads to job sites for internal operational support. Hauls include pipes, hose machinery, hazardous materials, pumps, permitted loads, water transfer equipment, tanker loads, and some non-dot regulated loads.
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Abide by all DOT regulations including hours of service, fit for duty, and ensuring all driver certifications are current.
- Ability to meet critical deadlines and ensure schedules are being followed.
- Transports loads from out of state from time to time also referred to as OTR or over the road loads.
- Follow all HSE policies and procedures.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or less.
- Ability to load and unload equipment off of trailers.
Qualifications
- Pass an initial DOT drug screening.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in English
- Strong communication skills
