XRI’s COO, Dr. Christopher Harich, Joins Texas Water and Energy Institute Advisory Board

XRI’s Dr. Harich will join a group of leaders from industry and academia who have extensive knowledge about the strong connection between water and energy. His expertise as a water resource engineer and hydrologist, as well as his ESG, water recycling and treatment, and water midstream experience will advance the goals of the Texas Water and Energy Institute (TWEI).

Dr. Harich’s proficiency will contribute to TWEI’s work of addressing research problems in water intelligence, recycle and reuse of produced water treatment technologies, renewable energy-based water technologies, and performance evaluation of sustainable water treatment technologies.

“It’s an honor and I’m excited,” stated Dr. Harich. “In addition to engaging with advanced researchers and industry leaders, I’m looking forward to educating and encouraging students and communities on how to get involved in being a part of water solutions. It is very important to me to be able to share a passion of water resources with the next generation of scientists and engineers through internship programs, research programs, and building a relationship between the university and the energy industry.”
