XRI President John Durand describes how rising demand for recycling produced water is fueling XRI’s growth in interview with the Midland Reporter-Telegram

Increasing demand to recycle and reuse the water produced alongside crude and natural gas has water management companies scaling up to meet that demand.

Last spring, Midland-based XRI Holdings LLC acquired the water treatment and recycling division of Fountain Quail Energy Services, creating a wholly owned subsidiary of XRI operating under the Fountain Quail name.

John Durand, XRI’s president, reflected on the year following the acquisition, its impact on the company and what he sees looking forward, via email with the Reporter-Telegram.
